Teaching is an Adventure!

I started this blog as a sort of journal to document my 5th year of teaching.
Wow...5 years in the classroom...gone by in the wink of an eye...where does the time go? How can five wonderful years go by so fast?

What has happened since I started teaching?

I went from being a kindergarten teacher to being a 1st grade teacher...from a rookie to a mentor...from writing lesson plans to writing curriculum. Even my family has grown by two little feet! I now have 4 children instead of 3. The only constant in my life has been my dear husband...he is my rock...my ally...my partner...my best friend.

I do have to say all of these experiences have helped me become the teacher person that I am today. This teaching adventure has been A-MA-ZING...and the beautiful thing is that it has just begun! I'm so happy to be able to record this journey...so that later...when I'm contemplating about time...I can come back here and reminisce.
